Now don’t laugh!

I love this… It’s quick, easy, tasty and it uses something that most of us have.. Baked beans 🙂

What you need…
Stuff for Tholka
One tin of baked beans
Two medium sized potatoes
Huldi
Garam masala
Salt
Fresh coriander
Medium sized pot/pan

What you need to do…
Fry the Tholka until the onions just start to turn translucent
Sprinkle in 1/2 a teaspoon of huldi and continue to fry for a couple of minute…onions start to brown
Peel and dice potatoes…3 to 4cm chunks
Chuck them in the pan and stir until they’re all coloured.
Add about 1/2 a teaspoon of garam masala and stir in…for a couple of minutes.
Mix in the tin of beans with about 1/2 a tin of water.. mix and cover.
Stir on a regular basis until the potatoes have softened.
Add salt to taste.. baked beans already contain a lot of it!
Chop the coriander and mix in.

What to do next…
Serve with roti or pitta bread…or anything similar!
Eat

Enjoy!
